Global Logistics Manager
Background:
The Global Supply Chain Operations Organization seamlessly connects markets to the global manufacturing network by centrally managing supply, inventory and replenishment planning for drug products. We orchestrate the value streams between sites and affiliates by balancing the demand and supply equations across markets, products, manufacturing assets and inventory points. We ensure right first time order fulfillment and delivery of drug products everywhere and anytime in the global network.
As a Global Logistics Manager you trade and deliver Drug Substance, Drug Product and Finished Products to a defined range of packaging sites, affiliates and 3rd party customers within a given geographical region. This includes the on-time and in-full supply of products and required documents worldwide, starting with the release and ending with arrival of products at the designated final destination. Moreover, you build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and interfaces, lead discussions, root cause analysis, problem solving efforts and process improvements to ensure that reliable and compliant supply is secured and performance targets and customer requirements are met or exceeded, while minimizing cost and environmental impact.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are delivered on time, in full and in a compliant way
- Manage international distribution, logistics and trade operations
- Monitor stock availability, execute transfer and order to cash processes
- Drive performance monitoring
- Manage and resolve operational issues
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for the optimization of transportation and logistics.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 3-5 years of supply chain and/or logistics experience in the pharma industry
- Bachelor degree in relevant field and/or APICS certification (or equivalent) are a strong plus
- Decent knowledge of SAP MM/SD transactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
- Data-driven mindset
