Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Working in an interdisciplinary team of engineers to develop and improve manufacturing processes (including method evaluation and process control) for thick film sensors
  • Collection, analyses, and assessment of production and process control data and complement with additional analytical measurements
  • Support and run experimental studies for the sensor and process development, including planning, coordination, hands-on execution, and reporting of results
  • Contribute to the definition and documentation of the manufacturing processes and process control measures (e.g. pFMEA, flowcharts, manufacturing and test specifications)
  • Support the project team to ensure project deliverables, quality, and timeline

Must Haves:

  • Completed technical training as process engineer, material scientist, or similar professional education 
  • Strong Aptitude for data analysis and interpretation with programming skills to automate recurring analyses and script longer term process monitoring and control 
  • Proven work experience for operating manufacturing equipment (preferably for thick film deposition) and analytical instruments 
  • A thorough way of working and documentation. Work experience in medical device industry or a comparable regulated environment is preferred, but not a must
  • Good communication skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
  • Technically interested to understand the development subject and it’s environment and application
  • Highly motivated team player with passion in promoting and driving fast-paced and ambitious projects
  • Proficiency in both English and German
